Insight Gastro Bar

Sunny yellow and steel for a gastro bar

Insight Gastro Bar is a gastro bar on Olesia Berdnyka Street in Kyiv, where the interior rests on a bold combination: sunny yellow, soft light and the cool gleam of stainless steel. For this venue we made custom furniture: a stainless steel main bar, MDF and stainless steel wall panels, a backlit panel, a table and a product cabinet.

The focal point of the room is the bar with its steel front. Lighting under the plinth seems to lift it off the floor, so the solid counter looks light. The yellow MDF panels with their smooth arcs set the rhythm of the whole space, and where they meet stainless steel, the steel reflects the light and makes the room feel deeper.

By the textured plaster wall glows a backlit stainless steel panel, with a table beside it for an unhurried dinner. The product cabinet with its lit niches turns the bottles into a display in a golden frame. This is how we like to work with hospitality venues: every piece brings out the character of the place and serves the daily service.
